DEAD BODIES FOUND BURIED UNDER THE FOUNDATION OF A CHURCH IN ENUGU (SEE PHOTOS)

Shallow graves were discovered with three decomposing bodies under the foundation of a church in Enugu State.

The strange discovery of dead bodies discovered buried in shallow graves under the foundation of a popular church located at the Ugwuaji area along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, Enugu State, has caused serious outrage with residents vowing to lynch the General Overseer of the church who is now on the run.

The corpses were found buried under the foundation of the church building, totally covered with concrete.

It was learnt that the construction of the building which commenced recently was

SWITZERLAND GOVERNMENT TO TRANSFER A FURTHER $300 MILLION IN ABACHA LOOT TO NIGERIA

On Monday, Foreign Minister Geoffrey Onyeama announced that the government of Switzerland would transfer a further $300 million in recovered loot from the family of former dictator Sani Abacha.

The funds are part of an estimated $5 billion which was stolen and then funneled into various foreign accounts by the military dictator.  

It will be recalled that in December 2015 SaharaReporters published several stories concerning former Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s authorization of a diversion of $300 million, taken from the loot recovered from Mr. Abacha, to the Office of the former National Security Advisor (NSA) Colonel Sambo Dasuki a few weeks before the 2015 Presidential elections.

Miss Kesandu Nwokolo, a young Nigerian, has developed a mobile phone application to help reduce infant and maternal mortality in Africa.

In a statement obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos, the innovative healthcare app would revolutionise the health sector in Nigeria and Africa.

It said that the innovative healthcare application developed by Nwokolo and her team is called ”CradleCount”.

It noted that about six out of 10 women have their babies at home, where the delivery was not supervised by a skilled birth attendant.

FRSC: ROAD ACCIDENTS REDUCED BY 33% DURING THE DECEMBER FESTIVE PERIOD 2015

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says the number of road crashes have reduced by 33% during the festive period, compared with the statistics of crashes during the same period in 2014.

The FRSC’s record showed that 113 crashes happened between December 19 and 26, 2015, an improvement of over 169 crashes recorded during same period in 2014.
