150 Women Beheaded By The ISIS For Refusing To Marry Fighters

No fewer then 150 females, including pregnant women and young teenagers, were executed by Islamic State militants in Fallujah, Iraq.

According to Spokesman for Iraq’s ministry of human rights, Kamil Ameen, at least 150 women were beheaded for refusing to intermarry jihadists. The women were lined up and executed by a death squad, whereupon their bodies were buried in a mass grave.

It is believed that the punitive operation was contolled by Senior IS officer Abu Anas Al-Libi in the western Iraqi province of Al-Anbar. Many families were also forced to migrate from the province’s northern town of Al-Wafa after hundreds of residents received death threats.

The militants have taken thousands of women and children as captives, especially around 2,500 women from the minority Yazidi sect in Iraq. They also turned a mosque in Fallujah into a prison, where they held hundreds of men and women.

ISIS is the self-designated Islamic State, in its self-proclaimed status as a caliphate, it claims religious authority over all Muslims worldwide. It aims to bring most Muslim-inhabited regions of the world under its political control, including Iraq Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Cyprus, and part of southern Turkey.
