From the death of Michael Brown by a white police officer to the choking of Eric Garner also by a white police officer, Racism in the
United States has been a major issue since the colonial era and the slave era.
The existence of slavery is arguably the root of subsequent conceptualizations of African-Americans, and this has been making tempers flare recently in the U.S which might be the cause of the shooting of two N.Y.P.D Police officers in retaliation to the Eric Garner and Michael Brown's murder respectively.
